APRIL 8-9 23rd Annual Potomac Watershed Cleanup - Alice Ferguson Foundation
The largest regional event of its kind, Potomac Watershed Cleanup provides a transforming experience that engages citizens and community leaders and generates momentum for change. The clean-up will be held on Saturday, April 9th, from 9am-12pm, and all KOA guests that participate will receive a 10% discount on their stay. Please see www.fergusonfoundation.org for details.
APRIL 22-24 Easter eggstravaganza
Enjoy a sky filled with stars, the smell of the campfire, quality time with your loved ones and a guest appearance by the Easter Bunny. Well be dyeing eggs, hunting for eggs at our flashlight egg hunt, and for the first time ever, warm up your tossers for your chance to win the Egg Toss Competition. Its KOAs Eighth Annual Come Kamp & Care With Us Weekend. Join us as a paying Kamper on Friday, May 13th and STAY FREE on Saturday, May 14th. The KOA Care Camp Auction will be held on Saturday, bring a donation item for the auction and enjoy a variety of fun-filled fundraising activities for a great cause.

You dont have to go to New Orleans, you can experience a little Mardi Gras right here. Complete with homemade Jester Hats and Mardi Gras Masks, this weekend is filled with flashy Green, Gold and Purple fun. Join us at the Carnival Parade as we throw beads from the KOHay Wagon and nominate your friends for a chance to be crowned KOA King and Queen of Mardi Gras.
mAY 27-30 Memorial Day WEEKEND *3 Day!
Its nothing but 3 days of non-stop Memorial Day Fun! KOHay Rides, giant moon bounce, inflatable climbing wall, Memorial Day crafts, most RED, WHITE and BLUE site decorating contest, FREE all-u-can-eat pancake breakfasts, and live music Saturday and Sunday nights! All Active Duty Military with Military ID received 10% off the cost of their stay.
JUNE 3-5 KOA EARTH DAY
KOA is Going Green and we are all about doing our part to keep Mother Earth healthy! Make a crafts out of a variety of recycled materials, learn about how YOU can make a difference, and enjoy science and nature exhibits. Who will win the contest for most aluminum cans collected? There will be prizes awarded and all proceeds from the recycling contest will be donated to the KOA Care Camps.
JUNE 10-12 Super Heros Weekend
Calling all Super Heros! There will be Heros of all kinds at the KOA this weekend. To say thank you for keeping us safe and going above the call of duty we will be offering a 10% Discount for all Active Duty Military, Fire, Rescue and Law Enforcement personnel *with valid I.D. Enjoy an afternoon of meet and great with the Heros of Jefferson County. Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed Super Hero and Super Hero Team.
JUNE 17-19 Harpers Ferry Outdoor Festival & Fathers Day Weekend
Treat Dad this Father's Day to a camping trip not to be missed. The Harpers Ferry KOA hosts the 13th Annual Harpers Ferry Outdoor Festival. Live music, vendors, games for the kids, nature and science exhibits, and the ever anticipated silent auction, Saturday from 12pm-10pm. This non-profit event is held to raise funds for the preservation and protection of our local rivers and streams.

JUNE 24-26 Pirates Weekend
Arrr, Mateys! Landlubers beware, enter if you dare the wild waters of the heated pool for our 3rd Annual Pirate Ship Showdown. Win the challenge, aye, ye keeps yer ship. Splash into the crystal blue waters and collect the booty from the bottom of the sea. Wear your eye patch, and grab your hook, follow the map to find the hidden treasure and battle it out at our first ever Pirate Ship Water Balloon Battle.

JULY 15-17 Paranormal Weekend
We will be hosting the Paranormal Convention in the Cutler Center hosted by resident Paranormal Expert, Vince Wilson. Take a tour of the Haunted Cottage, if you dare, and explore the world of the unknown with the professional tools of the trade. Unpack your Zombie gear and suit up for our first official ZOMBIE WALK. JULY 22-24 Christmas in July
T'was the night before Christmas in mid-July and as the Kampers waited patiently for that jolly old guy! RV's and campers are all decorated with light in hope that Santa will make a stop by tonight. Celebrate with us at the Karaoke Christmas Party, bring an unwrapped gift for the charity mystery gift auction and save $10 on your stay. All proceeds go to the KOA Care Camps. Prizes will be awarded for best site decorations!
JULY 29-31 FAIRY TALE WEEKEND
Once upon a time in a KOA far, far, away all the princes, princesses, and magical friends met each other for a weekend of swimming, bouncing, putting and paddling. Enjoy tea and cookies with the Queen; and warm up those arms for the water balloon battle for Control of the Castle.

AUGUST 19-20 PET OLYMPICS
Bring out your 4-legged friends and let them show off their talents and strut their trendy fashions at our pet friendly resort. Join us at the Bark Park for the Frisbee, agility and talent competitions, and compete in our Doggie Fashion Show. Let mans best friend lead you to your camping site, and enjoy FREE MOVIES at the KOA Theatre on Friday and Saturday night!
AUGUST 26-28 KAMPER APPRECIATION
We love & appreciate our KOA Kampers and we want to thank you for making the Harpers Ferry KOA a great place to stay. Kampers who have stayed with us twice this summer get a FREE Saturday night of kamping when you paying for Friday night. Play the afternoon away at the indoor carnival where the yummy cotton candy will be spun and bring out the whole family, its going to be so much fun!

SEPT. 9-11 Wild West - Hoe Down Weekend
Wanted: All cowboys and cowgirls! Bring your covered wagons and your little doggies to your favorite hand-picked VIK site! Back by popular demand, there will be a KOHay Ride Hold-up, so you may want to leave your gold at home. Take a chance to walk away a wealthy cowboy or cowgirl with our charity Poker Run. Do-se-do with your partner at the Square Dancing Demonstration or belt out your best Country tune at Karaoke with Cowboy Ron. Once youve worked up a good ole appetite, belly up to the KOA Cafi for some tender tasty vittles.
SEPT. 16-18 Forgotten Childrens Auction
The Forgotten Childrens Ministries will be holding their Annual Forgotten Childrens Auction on Saturday, September 17th at 4pm in the indoor basketball court. Bring a donation item to raise much-needed funds in support of this non-profit group. Well have crafts for the kids, FREE MINI GOLF, games, swimming, and more.

OCTOBER 30-1 Living History Weekend
Fall is Beautiful in the Shenandoah Mountains. Step back in time with a visit from the 2nd Maryland Infantry CSA Re enactors Group. Learn of the ways of the past and explore Civil War History as you witness the life of the soldiers from days gone by with hands-on demonstrations and interactive presentations. Oh yea, dont let your four-legged friend miss out on the fun, its pool closing time and that means its time for our 3rd Annual DOGGIE SWIM!
